SUR‐KSHETRA AUDITIONS TERMS AND CONDITIONS

TERMS AND CONDITIONS: SUR‐KSHETRA AUDITIONS
1. Definitions: "Show" shall mean the show titled “Sur‐Kshetra” which is the subject matter of auditions. "Channel" shall mean
Sahara One Media And Entertainment Limited. "Production House" shall mean Saibaba Telefilms Private Limited. "Judges" shall
mean judges appointed by the Channel and Production House to judge the Participants on the Show. “Participant(s)” shall mean
the individuals participating and competing on the Show at any given point in time.
2. The preferred age of the participants should be between 16 years to 26 years only. However, in case of outstanding talent, as
adjudged by the jury/judges in the audition, they can reasonably relax the same
3. If any Participant is younger than 18 years of age, then the consent of his/her legal guardians to his/her participation in the
Show is required to be submitted.
4. The Participant should be an Indian citizen.
5. Participant should carry with themselves, during the auditions, a valid proof of identity, age and nationality (A copy of a
passport, driving license, or an election card can be used as a proof of identity. The said copies of the proof of identity of the
Participant may be verified by the Channel/Production House with the respective original copies at a later stage.)
6. The Participant must not have been convicted of any criminal offence under any Indian laws or under the laws of any other
country.
7. The Participant should not be barred/ restricted from participating in the Show or from entering into a contract with the
Channel or the Production House, pursuant to any previous contractual obligation.
8. Participation by the Participant in the auditions for the Show implies participation with absolute and willful consent of the
Participant.
9. The selection of Participants as qualifiers for further rounds of the competition on the Show is at the complete discretion of the
Judges, Production House and the Channel. The Participation of any Participant in the auditions for the Show does not imply
qualification for further rounds of the competition on the Show in any manner whatsoever.
10. The Participant is required to furnish original copies of necessary supporting documentation as may be required by the
Production House and the Channel to confirm the eligibility of the Participant in the Show and the Channel reserves the right to
disqualify/bar an individual from being a Participant on the Show for not furnishing the necessary documentation to the
satisfaction of the Channel.
11. The Channel and the Production House reserves the right to amend the rules of the competition on the Show as it deems fit or
terminate or cancel the Show at any time without any prior information or notice or intimation to the Participant and/or the
public. The Channel is not obliged in any manner whatsoever to compensate any person or persons who have participated in
the Show or to accommodate the person in the further seasons of the Show or any other show of the Channel.
12. Non‐Conformance by any Participant of the rules stated herein will disqualify them from participation.
13. The Channel or Production House shall not be responsible in any manner whatsoever for the inability or incapacity of an
individual to be a Participant on the show for any reasons whatsoever.
14. The Channel or Production House in no manner whatsoever shall be held responsible or liable for physical injury, death, mental
or emotional trauma caused to any Participant before, during, or after the selection/audition process in relation to the Show.
15. The Participant, by participating in the Auditions agrees that his/her footage, video/audio recording before, during or after the
audition process in relation to the Show shall be the absolute Intellectual Property of the Channel and that the Participant has
no objection to such footage/audio, video recording being used by the channel in relation to the promotion and episodic
telecast of the show in any media whatsoever.
16. The Channel and Production House has absolute and sole discretion and reserves the right to modify / change the terms,
conditions, rules and /or regulations in relation to or in respect of the Show
17. The Participant has read and understood all the terms and conditions and rules and regulations in respect of the Show and
agrees to abide by the same.
18. Incomplete/illegible forms shall not be accepted.
19. By participating in the auditions for the Show, the Participants imply willful consent to all rules and regulations stated herein
and further agree to oblige/abide by the decision of the Judges, Production House and the Channel in relation to any aspect of
the show as final and binding.

SUR-KSHETRA kick-starts from India with 6 city auditions and from Pakistan with 3 city auditions from December 24, 2011.
The
selected singing warriors from the auditioning cities of both nations
will assemble at ground zero. They will further undergo grilling through
various levels of rigorous selection processes and a select team of
smashing musical warriors from both nations will be carved out. Noted
singer-music director turned actor, Himesh Reshammiya, will captain
the Indian team of singers while his counterpart singer turned actor
from Pakistan, Atif Aslam will lead the team from across the border.
